Eco house Excellent project -hope it goes well for you! This will be the shape of things to come and I'm not at all surprised to see the Harrisons pioneering this sort of stuff. Best wishes from the Claytons in Colchester Posted by John & Kerry Clayton on 27 January 2011 Great idea I am following this with great interest, I have a similar project in mind in speyside half way up a hill, access is my biggest problem, and of course budget. Wish you best luck every step of the way as I know this is a challenge. Posted by Davina on 10 October 2010 davina, thanks for your message. It is no easy task, but fun. Don't hesitate to conatct us if you want talk. we are hopefully laying foundations next week. Cheers patrick Posted by Patrick on 11 October 2010 Eco House Project Abby and Patrick What a fascinating project and family experience for you all. I wonder what history and tales there are about the croft or cottage as it once was. Will the stone be used on the build , a feature wall or fireplace perhaps? Surya and Rohaise will love the excitement about having a new house. Why not put a hand or footprint in the build somewhere as a special personal feature - it seems to be a trend these days. love to you all. Cousin Richard and Carole xx Posted by Richard Baddeley on 01 August 2010 Hi Richard and Carole, thank-you for your kind message. Yes we will re-use the stone on one of the gable ends. Busy building the access road and dismantling at the moment. Patrick Posted by Patrick on 02 August 2010 Eco House project It will be very interesting to see this project evolve from your initial plans to a finished home. We will also be interested to learn about all of the technologies and materials that you will be encorporating in it. Posted by Jan & Gordon Cuthbertson on 03 May 2010 |
